LP 40 U ACTIVE LOW-PASS FILTER |
|
The LP 40 U is an active
low-pass filter designed for filling up the bass region of directional
condenser microphones. An omnidirectional microphone filtered by the
LP 40 U can be added to a supercardioid or cardioid to extend their
low end frequency response. The LP 40 U is especially useful for the
OCT (Optimized Cardioid Triangle) surround technique and has a low-pass
specification of 12 dB/oct at 100 Hz. |
