Just as the MK 41 or the CCM 41, the MK 41 V and the CCM 41 V are universally applicable as a spot microphone for music or as a directional microphone for film recording or ENG. While most of our other capsules and microphones are addressed on axis, this type picks up the sound laterally. The independence of its polar diagram versus frequency is even more distinct than with the 41 type. This means that the frequency response curve and thus the sound color remains almost unchanged when sound is picked up from the side or when a sound source moves around the microphone. This is why the 41 V microphone type is especially suitable as a spot microphone.
