A “+” indicates positive bias, the preferred option. For negative bias, a “¯” is indicated. If both are available “+-”, choose the preferred bias. The SONOTRIM STR-NC can be wired for either positive or negative bias with its stripped ends. For positive bias, connect the red wire to the input plug; for negative bias, connect the black. Ground the unused wire to the shield. The polarity of the ensemble is thus determined by the bias wiring chosen. Battery supplies may also be ordered separately. Specify the model chosen, the bias of the mating microphone, and add both to “STR-79-”; e.g., “STR-79-ML+”. Its price is the difference between the two price columns for that model (less $25.00, if the negative-bias option is selected). To indicate the color, use a B for Black or a G for Gray, after the STR-; e.g., “STR-BML-XL+ @ $453.00”. If a White or Tan microphone with its color-matched accessories is being ordered, add an extra $16.00 for the foam windscreen; e.g., “STR-WML-XL+ @ $469.00”. |
